As I am rapidly approaching my retirement date/DOS, I was also recently selected for promotion. I have already recieved confirmation from AFPC that they will be amending my orders to reflect my new rank, however my MPF has stated that the DD214 is for the current period of service and I will not have my new rank on this.
I don't believe this is correct as if my retirement orders state I am separating as my new rank, wouldn't all other documentation reflect this as well?
Please let me know what you guys think.
