I am a TSgt in the AF and I was wondering once you get past the local medical boad and it goes to the IPEB how long does it take to get a response?
I am being boarded for some mental issues.
I'm not a crazy,man eating manic
I just have some issues that don't go with active duty.

I've been hearing on average 6 to 8 weeks.
I just got my results back and it took 6 weeks and 1 day.

Mcat; yes...I definetley know how it is! I am on my way out. They rated me at 60 percent and found me not fit for duty, and are placing me on the Temporary Disability Retired List. (TDRL) I have just over 10 years of service. When I said DHL, I meant the mail carrier. They did send me as link to a websote called Lawmanager which I used to follow the process of my IPEB. I checked it daily to see if there were any changes, and when I checked it on the 27th of Feb, it had the IPEB Findings listed saying "NFFD and placement on TDRL" I had to call HQ to find out the %. They then told me they would send the package via DHL, and I got that on the 4th of this month. I accepted the findings, but also accepted the free Coast Guard lawyer should anything strange come up during the final processing. The whole waiting game is enough to drive a person mad. I am glad it is over, although now I have to play the new waiting game of...When will I get a retirement date. From what I have gathered, it will probably be around July that I am retired.
